DFS Ground black pepper Gyros Sauce: 1-1/2 cups Hellmann’s Mayonnaise 1 cup Colombo Plain yogurt 1 cup Hood Sour cream 4 oz. Pegasus Feta cheese, crumbled 3 oz. | Directions: 1. To make Mediterranean Spice Mix: Grind pickling spice in blender or spice grinder. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until thoroughly mixed. Cover and reserve. 2. To make Gyros Sauce: In bowl, mix ingredients until thoroughly blended. Cover and refrigerate. 3. For each serving, to order: Sprinkle one side of 1 patty with 1 tablespoon Mediterranean Spice Mix. Grill or broil patty to internal temperature of 155ºF for a 15-second hold. Toast or grill cut sides of 1 bun. Spread 2 tablespoons Gyros Sauce on bun bottom. Top with 2 tomato slices and grilled burger. Add 1/2 ounce onions and cover with bun top. Plate and serve with additional Gyros Sauce. Recipe provided by National Cattlemen’s Beef Association |
